There has got to be more than this!? It can't be just this, right, or I'm inclined to take author's words of coincidence at face value?

From some digging around it seems like there's a bit more overlap to it than that, including the same spans of time between events, a wrist injury happening at the same point, and some similar nicknames and sayings being used. That said it's hard to actually find much in the way of specifics because nobody's really talking about this novel and the most commonly-used name that seems to come up searching for it is a bit different than the one this article's using.

On the either side of a water body,.there's 3 or so manga that use daigo and even name.drop him. But well,.they are not erotic novels where he is the main characters so that's a big difference already.
