Would be awesome if Discotek licensed and released it. And since it's a movie we could even hope for a dub. Granted It might not be the same seeing how off the rails the dub was for the TV show.

Ahhh, everyone looks so good!
The frogs look nice and sleek, and it's also really cool to see the human characters all have had their designs adjusted to fit how the manga author's been drawing them in recent years, lol. I can only hope this movie will somehow see a release over here someday, hopefully from Discotek! (Though I know they've only confirmed the old movies.) |

Bandai Namco Filmworks regularly releases their catalog outside of Japan, so it'll most certainly happen with the new Sgt. Frog movie. We might have to wait between Fall 2026 and Summer 2027 if Japan is the primary market for the movie with the rest of the world being secondary. Since the franchise is more well known in Asia, the movie might launch internationally there first around Fall 2026, followed by the West sometime in 2027. As for an English release, BNF might do that through distributors like Discotek Media, or work directly with streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
