Please stop accepting them.
They aren't even being properly re-sized and are filled with aliasing/uneven line detail, making them look really jagged. I would rather have original pictures from the Japanese websites filled with promotional text, than see low-resolution, jaggy-filled slop. Example: Original Slop The edges of things (hair, faces, body outlines, clothing, objects, etc.) are jagged. And the picture itself is smaller, resulting in dropped detail. It gives the Encyclopedia entry a very cheap look. Whoever is submitting these, please to a better job re-sizing. At least make it the same size as the original (420-something x 600 pixels). Making it smaller than the original will result in more jaggies. If you're using software to remove text/watermarks, just use the default images from ANN, or even MAL as your template. Looking at the the full-sized Livechart ones, they seem to have aliasing baked in already, maybe from too much up/down resizing, so resizing again after text/watermark removal will only make them even more jagged. |

Hi Tony,
This is being done by a staff member. I'm going to share this post with her so she knows. |

Yeah, the quality could be better. But the second one is textless, which makes it automatically better regardless of any other consideration. If someone can find a textless keyart that matches the image quality of the first one, that would be ideal.

Thank you. After cross-referencing the Winter 2026 Schedule we have going in the Series Discussion forum and looking at all the Encyclopedia entries, a good majority of them look perfect, now
