If we assume they don’t play the opening and ending, I guess that might be enough to adapt the entire next fight.

How are they going to cover the yuta's triple fight in 27 minutes?
They're really going to butcher the best fight in the series huh

I read a while ago on twitter that the season's gonna end with that one cliffhanger where it looks like spoiler[the three of them are gonna deploy their domain expansion]. Take it with a grain of salt though

It's easily one of the most boring fights in terms of substance, but I'm sure MAPPA will make it fun to watch.

If anything condensing that fight down to a single episode would be an improvement; at least then the show wouldn't waste as much time with a fight that has nothing to say about any of the characters involved and just exists to take up space so a mangaka can stall for time

The preview of last episode already confirms it's not gonna end there. spoiler[you can see the domains breaking in the preview.]

Is this season only running for 1 cour of 12 episodes? I can't seem to find any sources saying otherwise.

Hmmm... I don't know if that's enough time to fully wrap up Yuta's section in this episode. But the preview does suggest spoiler[that domain breaking scene will be there]. But I don't think the whole thing will be wrapped up, and it will cliffhanger us similar to the halfway point of Season 1.

Like previous seasons, it's around 24 episodes, but there will be a break between the first and second half.

Season 1 cliffhangered at the fight between Nanami, Yuji and Mahito.

Season 2 had a brief break between the prequel and Shibuya arcs.

Season 3 will take a break after this week's episode. When the second half will air hasn't been announced yet, but I imagine they'll tell us later this week.
