"Last Exile" finally brought me seriously into anime -since I've first watched it in the 70's. Other than the fantastically memorable scores for the Yamato/Star Blazers soundtracks, I had never actually wanted to own an anime soundtrack until I watched that show in 2003!
Such soundtrack music is of none other than that of "Dolce Triade". Their dreamy, melodic vocal tracks, with spirited songs and rich orchestral scores, are offset by unique neo-Celtic flavoured music -of such a distinctive character that can only describe the sound that is the hallmark of this excellent group. Now, I'm not good a describing and defining music & its components, but I'm also not too saavy on the internet either. (I don't use a PC online, but an "internet device" lol, so I have limitations -like blisters from chiseling out sentences on this slab! "Owch! --Wiiiilmmaaaa!!!") I would LOVE, after years of being in the dark, to find out something (or lots-'o-things) about this wondrous group of musicians! Hence I invite enthusiasts of their music, to indulge themselves here at my expense -for the enrichment of all! Perhaps I might just learn a thing or two about this "Cloud Age Symphony" that has seemed obscured in the heavens for much too long!! Yea, the very sky MUST become clear upon the revelation of this group!!! Wait. *regains composure* I am not deep into J-Pop, or anime music (have some of the "cream" like Yoko Kanno's stuff, though) -but I welcome it all. Tell me what makes THIS group tick. -That I may find and obtain other albums of theirs! -Or just point me in the right direction. ANYTHING! Please? Thanks, Mike |
