I've been through the first 4 DVDs and saw no such thing. spoiler[ Although there was a tentacle monster, it was portrayed in a scary Tremors-ish way.

There's a scene out of episode 25 that might fit the bill: spoiler[A meteorite hits the street, an alien comes out and its tentacles wrap up the hapless nearby reporter, Miyata Akira. The scene cuts out just after a tentacle gets into her mouth.]

You honestly shouldn't be "disturbed" because you heard second hand of a scene that may or may not exist in some form. Yes, that scene did kind of happen in Puni Puni Poemy, but if you're picking only that one scene out of the entire show to be offended by (particularly considering the nature of the show
 not to mention that you haven't even seen the scene in question), you're clearly not being rational.
