I was thinking, why doesn't Anime News Network publish the Encyclopedia? I know the project is on going and all but every two years, maybe, an updated version could be released. It could also be a good promotion tool for the site even though there's a good number of people who find the site in one day.
Just a thought. |

We might use the Enclyclopedia for a future publication. Prior to ANN's involvement in Protoculture, Protoculture had published (translatedfromItalian) a similar book.
There are also lots of other books we could publish on material found in the encyclopedia that is not found in either the Clements/McCarthy Encyclopedia or the Anime Guide. Unfortunately publishing the Encyclopedia itself would be pretty impossible, there's enough info in our encyclopedia to fill a 5,000+ page series of encyclopedias. -t |
