i really hope there will be another ninja scroll series other than dragon gem. dragon gem was awesome. i am a huge fan of ninja scroll. so do you guys think there will be another ninja scroll series??

They are making a second movie. I'm sure if the series was successful they will make another one sometime down the line. Actually I was quite surprised when I found out that they where making the television series. The original has always been one of my absolute favourites but it was almost 10 years old when the television show was announced so I guess anything is possible.

So long as Kawajiri and Madhouse Studios work on it, I have complete faith any NS continuation will receive the treatment it deserves! I cannot wait for another NS movie! Keeps us posted everyone. Anime smile

Speaking of Ninja Scroll. Is anyone else bothered by the fact that Jubei from the television show doesn't look like his movie counterpart very much?

Isn't that because Kawajiri did not do the character designs himself? His character designs are pretty trademark, see Wicked City and the Ninja Scroll movies. Very Happy

Ninja Scroll is my second favorite anime after The Wings of Honneamise. Back then when Ninja Scroll came out there were many anime that had extreme violence and rape and such(as did Ninja Scroll). If Ninja Scroll 2 is to be made with similar concept I wonder if it will be accepted or not ?
