in fact, none of the posts really went into any sort of detail as to WHY the poster throught the way they did -- even the best posts in the "death match" thread were merely played-out fights, rather than an analysis of WHY one character would have an edge over the other.

had the "death match" thread compared and contrasted the characters, rather than saying things like "though i think spike is coolre [sic], i think inuyasha would win, being half-demon and all."
