Gotta love the difference between real Nina and dream Nina's expressions. Funny strip.

I actually choked when I saw this.
but seriously, a nina-themed dating sim would be popular among a..... certain segment of fans..... and also the anime series based off the nina dating sim...... I think just as long as the "male character" doesn't look like kevin it'll be alright.
Or kevin can be the comic relief sidekick like in clannad. (his name escapes me atm)
Or a nina-themed princess maker-type game? where you try to raise nina to become princess of all anime news elfs?
oh, and I also had my monitor broken. but I did that myself >.<

It's all about the tentacles and the "personal warming" product.

Awesome dude.
I think this is one of the best comics. Hilarious thought bubbles in the game sequence.

Great job on this. I simply love Nina all dating simulated, she's uber adorable there, sparkly eyes, glowing hair, blushing, completely adorable!

That was some pretty good artwork. I'd actually be lolling on it really hard, if I wasn't coming off of three hours sleep and the mother dragging me out of bed to wake up the siblings.

I too believed that Robin was coming back this week, as per a previous statement. That doesn't detract from the quality artwork and story this time; indeed, it looks like Robin herself drew it, the facial expressions especially.
Poor poor, misunderstood Kevin. All he wants to do is spend some quality time interacting with uber-Moe characters, and yet Nina wrecks his monitor.
But wait a minute, he should be "interacting" with the two women he is sharing a room with. Lucky dog gets this opportunity, and he wastes it on a bunch of pixels? He deserves to have no girlfriend, no job and no life.
Some people make me sick. |
Actually, I thought Robin drew this comic as well. The artwork, especially the facial expressions looked like Robin's talent. I actually thought Robin would return this week though. What struck me odd is the date of this comic though August 6, 2009. I thought today's date was August 6, 2008?
Dtm42: The reason Kevin didn't make use of this "opportunity" is simple.
This site is relitively family friendly, if the comic showed Kevin "interacting" with the two women he shared a room with, that might offend some people and cause Robin and the site owner to deal with handing compliants.
Once again Sarah, you've really done a fantasic job this week. Thank you for working so hard.

Wow he might have a mini harem but I guess that doesn't compare to 12 moe computer girls 48 endings and a song called popotan playing in the background...a true fanboy

Thanks for the awesome response, everyone! I have to admit that drawing dating-sim Nina was somewhat of a guilty pleasure (Hey, I like cute things too!) and I'm glad you guys liked it.
Thanks for putting up with me while Robin's away.
