Yeah, I used to buy my Hentai from there. To be more specific, I went to the actual store here in N.Y. They have lots of Anime stuff but the old lady there kept following me like I was about to steal something............so I stopped going there....

Their bootleg selection of anime is rather small *and full of mediocre anime* but have you taken a look at the CD section? It's like you just found the entire black market for anime CD's!

I like animecastle enough because they are the only place on the web that I have been able to find GTO posters, and they have some pretty cool ones. They also have a good selection of shirts and some really neat merchandise things. I don't buy anime from them though because it's a little bit overpriced.

They have really good prices on the merchandise stuff. The best I've been able to find on the net.
The DVDs are cheaper than MSRP, but places like Best Buy are usually a little cheaper. The manga usually sells for a good price (about $8.50 compared to the usual $10). The only problem I've ever run into was recently (out of shopping there for 4+ years) and with a pre-order (which I've never done through them). The 2 books I pre-ordered still haven't shipped even though the website claims they were suppose to be in over a week ago. |
