Generations ago, humanity's war against the Cyberoid war machines left our planet a desolate wasteland. Now, dozens of "ecropolis" cities are scattered along the landscape. Life is a hyper-modern utopia inside of these artificial habitats. But someone has a different idea of utopia.

"Yumans" are genetically engineered and "improved" humans. Although some yumans coexist peacefully with normal humans, some believe that their genetic superiority has destined them to rule. Fifty years ago, the yuman tyrant Genova attempted a coup to seize power for the yumans. In the end, the bloody rebellion failed, further damaging Earth's fragile ecology. Now Genova's descendant, Nova, is ready to try again. This time the yumans have a powerful ally - a being that once came close to completely destroying the human race.

Out only hope lies in the android Catty. A creation of the Solnoids, the long-dead ancestors of humanity, Catty understands the eternal cycles of destruction which plague out race. Only Catty can gather the seed sof mankind's salvation - but time is running out. For Earth and humanity, this will be the last battle - ever!
