Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate Slated for the West in September

Tecmo Koei announced on Friday that its Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita will ship in North America on September 2 and in Europe on September 5. The North American PS3 and PS Vita versions will be download only for US$49.99 and US$39.99, respectively, and the PS4 and Xbox One versions will retail for US$59.99.
Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate (Musō Orochi 2 Ultimate) was released in Japan last September and the PS4 version will ship on June 26. Warriors Orochi 3 was released in the U.S. for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate appeared on Australia's Classification rating website last month.
Players will be able transfer save data from the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game to receive bonuses such as new scenarios, background music, and original wallpapers. The game will also offer cross-save and cross-play support with the PS3 and PS Vita versions, as well as the Warriors Orochi 3 PS3 game.
The first edition of the game will come with a download code for Toukiden collaboration costumes for Kaguya, Taigong Wang, and Nuwa.
The original Warriors Orochi game featured characters from Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors while Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate also adds characters from the Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden, Soul Calibur and Atelier series, among others, for a total of more than 142 playable characters.
