The official website for the anime adaptation of Avex Pictures' DIVE II Entertainment music label's "Escha Chron" stage recital project announced on Saturday that the anime will be a two-episode OVA. The website also revealed a new key visual and two "guest" cast members.

Wataru Hatano will play guest character #1 Junta Kasai and Rina Satou will play guest character #2 Shiori Saitō. (Note: Name romanizations are not official.)

DIVE II Entertainment had presented the stage recital during its "D-world vol.0" event on July 10.

The "heartwarming" anime's story follows the two titular women Escha and Chron, whose contrasting personalities are like the sun and moon. The two women are from "Terminal," a future post-apocalyptic world that's empty and monochrome. The two women cross worlds and arrive in the present day, which they call "Transit." As Escha and Chron experience the light (scenery) and sound (music) of the real world, the future world of Terminal gradually changes into a more vivid world.

Kiyono Yasuno and Chika Anzai are reprising their roles from the stage recital as Chron (pictured above left) and Escha (pictured above right), respectively, for the anime.

Seiji Mizushima (Fullmetal Alchemist, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Concrete Revolutio) is serving as chief director of the anime at studio Lerche (Assassination Classroom, Danganronpa The Animation). Hikaru Yamaguchi (Mr. Osomatsu storyboard and episode director) is directing the anime. Tatsuya Takahashi (The [email protected], The Eden of Grisaia) is writing the script, Toru Minazuki (To Heart) is the original character designer, and Satomi Watabe (Aikatsu!, Aikatsu Stars! design) is adapting those designs for animation. Hifumi, inc. is composing the music at DIVE II Entertainment. Terminal is credited with the original work.
