Sega Launches Bayonetta on PC via Steam

PC version features 60fps gameplay, 4K resolution

Sega published the Platinum Games' original Bayonetta game for PC via Steam on Tuesday. The PC version features gameplay at 60fps and 4K support. A digital deluxe edition with a soundtrack selection, digital art book, wallpapers, and avatars will be available until April 25.

Sega Europe also began streaming a PC launch trailer and a "developer diary" about the initial inspirations for the game.

Sega launched a countdown to the reveal of the news at the beginning of the month.

Platinum Games and Sega released the first Bayonetta action game about a shape-shifting, fighting witch on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan in October 2009 and then in North America in January 2010. Platinum Games and Sega released Bayonetta 2 for the Wii U in October 2014.
