Anime Limited Will Release Castlevania S1 on Blu-ray

Anime Limited announced that it will release the first four-part season of the Castlevania animated series as a Collectors Blu-ray in the second quarter of 2019.
Anime Limited was not able to confirm the contents of the Collectors Edition as of writing, but said it was "hoping to be able to utilise lots of art" in an art booklet, and that the disc would be likely to contain some extra content as well as the four expisodes of the season.
Anime Limited describes the series as follows: "Trevor Belmont, embittered and excommunicated, finds himself drawn into a battle for the survival of Europe–a region that has brought doom upon itself by taking away the one thing its greatest monster loved."
Producer Adi Shankar announced in 2015 that he was working with Fred Seibert and Kevin Kolde of Frederator Studios on an animated mini-series based on Konami's Castlevania game series. In particular, the story would be based on the 1989 NES/Famicom game Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse. The animated version was written by Warren Ellis.
