Starmarie Idol Group to Perform at Philippines' Best of Anime Event

Philippine events organizer Primetrade Asia announced on Monday that its Best of Anime convention will host idol group Starmarie as guests. The group will perform during the event.
The group previously performed at the Best of Anime convention in 2018, and also performed in 2017.
Starmarie formed in 2008, and currently consists of the members Nozomi Kishita, Shino Takamori, Monya Nakane, Hiroka Matsuzaki, and Kaede Watanabe. The group performed the song "Mekurumeku Yūki," the fourth ending theme song of the Cardfight!! Vanguard G TV anime. The song first appeared in the anime's 37th episode. Starmarie released their latest album, Fantasy World IV, in February 2018, and released their latest single, "Natsuninare!," in July 2017. The song served as the fourth ending theme song for the Cardfight!! Vanguard G NEXT anime. The group also performed the opening theme song of the Onigiri anime, where Starmarie members Monya Nakane and Nozomi Kishita also debuted as voice actresses.
This year's Best of Anime convention will take place on August 31 and September 1 at the SMX Convention Center in Metro Manila, Philippines.
