Voice Actress Saki Ogasawara Returns to Work After Hiatus

Voice actress Saki Ogasawara revealed on her Twitter account on Monday that she is returning to work after her hiatus for treatment for tongue cancer. She added that everyone's support became encouragement for her during treatment and recovery.
Ogasawara was diagnosed with stage 1 tongue cancer in early April. She announced in May that she was taking a hiatus for surgery and other related treatments for her cancer.
Ogasawara has voiced Charuni Kusakabe in Heaven's Memo Pad, Azusa Nakajō in The irregular at magic high school, and Itsuka Kendō in the second and third seasons of the My Hero Academia anime. She has also had minor roles in such anime as Show By Rock!!, Girls und Panzer der Film, Humanity Has Declined, Dusk maiden of Amnesia, DIVE!!, and Date A Live II. She also voices the character Akane Nonohara in the The IDOLM@STER Million Live! smartphone game.
