Transformers Voice Actor Peter Cullen to Receive Voice Arts' Lifetime Achievement Award

Voice of Optimus Prime to get Society of Voice Art and Sciences' award on November 17

The Society of Voice Art and Sciences announced on Monday that it is presenting this year's Lifetime Achievement Award to Peter Cullen (Transformers' Optimus Prime). The organization will present the award to Cullen at the 6th Annual Voice Arts Awards Gala at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California on November 17 at 3:00 p.m.

The Voice Arts Awards acknowledge the "skill and artistry that goes into voiceover acting."

Cullen is known for voicing Optimus Prime throughout various works in the Transformers franchise, including Transformers, The Transformers: The Movie, Transformers Prime, and Michael Bay's live-action Transformers films.
