The Japanese Virtual Artist IA Announces Her New Musical & Live Show for 2018, Called “ARIA”
The Japanese virtual artist IA announces her new MUSICAL & LIVE SHOW for 2018, called “ARIA”. The World Première to be held in June in France
After completing her 11-city world tour concert, PARTY-A- GO-GO, IA will then be setting her sights on her next international concert, entitled Musical & Live Show “ARIA,” scheduled to take place next June in Enghien-les-Bains, France.
ARIA is a completely new form of live entertainment show that will be unlike anything that has ever been seen before. Revolving around the themes of “Life,” “Love,” and “Peace,” ARIA will be an event that will engage the five senses, and challenge everything that you know about live concerts. Created out of the joint efforts between creative minds from both Japan and France, this event will bring together the worlds of music, art, and technology in ways that are sure to draw attention from around the world.
ARIA will take place on June 13th and 14th, 2018 at the LES BAINS NUMERIQUES digital art festival in Enghien-les-Bains, France.

“IA” is a virtual artist brought to life as part of the VOCALOID™3
library “IA -ARIA ON THE PLANETES-” and “IA ROCKS -ARIA ON THE
PLANETES”, which are both ranked #1 on Amazon Japan Music
Software chart. IA-related videos have collectively garnered more
than 100 million views.
In 2013 and 2014, IA took on the official theme song and became the
spokes character for Super GT, the most-watched motor race in Japan.
IA is also the featured singer of “KAGEROU PROJECT”, a multi-content
project created by the multi-talented “JIN”. And she also provided
vocals for a song which was entitled “Otsukimi Recital”, appearing in
the internationally distributed anime "MEKAKUCITY ACTORS" based on
“KAGEROU PROJECT”. In addition, IA received attention for being
selected for the vocals on the CD included with the final volume of the
“Neon Genesis Evangelion” manga. In July 2015, “IA/VT -COLORFUL- ”
for PlayStation® Vita was released and ranked #2 on the game
chart.
IA “PARTY A GO-GO" World Tour was presented in 11 cities among which, Los Angeles, New York,
London, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Costa Rica, Mexico City, Melbourne, Montreal and Santiago de Chile in
front of a public of 30,000 people. Since February 2016,
“IA 1st Live Concert in Japan -PARTY A GO-GO- “ is also being screened in
anime conventions and cinemas in more than 120 cities around the world.
IA has also been nominated as member of the International Olympiad in Informatics
(IOI) committee. She is the first virtual artist representing the games.
