KLab Signs Global License Agreement for Kumamon Game Development
Tokyo, Japan – February 12, 2020 – KLab Inc., a leader in online mobile games, announced alongside Kumamoto Prefecture ADK Emotions Inc. that they have signed a global license agreement to develop a game based on the popular Kumamoto Prefecture character Kumamon.
Kumamon is a character appointed by the governor of Kumamoto Prefecture to serve as the Sales Manager and Happiness Manager of Kumamoto Prefecture, and will celebrate his 10th anniversary in March 2020.
We are announcing the development of a new game based on Kumamon, to further promote his popularity worldwide through global expansion that began in 2018.

Kumamon is a mascot character for Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan born in March 2010. He is characterized by his cheerful but slightly mischievous behavior, cute gestures, and agile movements. Despite his appearance, he serves as the Sales Manager and the Manager Happiness of Kumamoto Prefecture.
