omg are freaking kidding me? I was already suspicious of their constant alterations from the manga ( all of which hindered the quality of story), now they just confirmed they will go for an original route...I am so mad right now, why adapt if you are just going to fudge the original story ?...

Well....so far I quite like and enjoyed the adaptation a lot despite the few changes, tone down and differences with the manga, and so far it also has a good/great production value animation wise, etc (typical Bones TV series anime ofc, especially since it's only 12eps series). So, I guess I'll just reserve my judgement to see things after the anime ends first and to see how the staff execute it (anime original plot/ending or whatever).

Well so long as the ending doesn't overtly suck like Blue exorcist's (or the changes made in season 1 of magi) I can be fine with this. It's only 13 episodes and at the very least I'm motivated to read the manga now.

As long as Yato is still kept in the picture. His antics are really what drive this series imo. |

Is this really confirmation of an ending? The OVA that's being bundled with an upcoming volume of the manga is supposed to be adapting a story arc that's meant to take place after the point in which this first season is supposed to cover. I was hoping that that might be an indicator that we could potentially get a second season (fingers crossed). If we get an anime only ending, I will be severely disappointed. |
