Lovely key visual! So glad this got another cour tbh and I'm curious to see what else this series has to offer. Hope to hear some more memorable songs...

I want to know if there will be rival idols for this cour and hopefully no more boy groups, I want a chance that my favorites end up being the rivals.

To me, this whole adaptation feels soulless to the bone, most girls didn't even get to show off her personality; I'd say about 4 girls are totally forgettable.

Same. Some of the songs are great, and the concert scenes were nice (though there wasn't much of them), but I feel /nothing/ watching this show. I don't care about any of the girls, and I don't even feel like I know half of them. The original IMAS series had way more heart.

I want to say that the reason I think it is not that good is because I am an anime only viewer...but aren't all the characters on the mobile game just as one-dimensional? I haven't played but it doesn't seem like there is a real story or character arcs or anything?

Rest assured, I play the game almost since day one, but it doesn't change a thing.
I still have my old (and now not really strong) Rika Rare+ card as my leader (outside event auto team arranges) but I gotta say watching the anime, I felt like she was completely unneeded. And she wasn't the only one.

Also the game doesn't really have a story, there are some fun side story comics you get daily, some little fun stories in events etcetera, but nothing you could make a plot about.
