I seriously am not expecting to see it before Shin Yakuza comes out.

And by that token, I’m expecting Shin Yakuza to leave it in the dust.

I'm disappointed that they aren't doing an Xbox One version, despite the remasters being released on that console.

YSNet had nothing to do with the remasters, just like how Sega has nothing to do with Shenmue III besides cashing a check. It's coming to PS4 in part because Sony kicked in some coin to port it and market it. They never ruled out Xbox One, just said they don't plan it at the moment. In any case, because they are so separate projects, you won't be able to carry your Shenmue II save to the third game the way you can from the first game to the second game in the re-release.

I'd be shocked if they somehow managed to make the original Shenmue even more shaky.
