I assume he'll want to have more Gundam games developed by Namco Bandai now that he is president.

Don't they already make 3-4 a year?

I wish. In the PS2 days, it seemed like they were pushing them out left and right. These days, not counting the SRW crossover games or iOS/Android games, it seems like 2 a year.

In 2017, they released Gundam Versus and SD Gundam: G Generation Genesis.

Last year, they released the terribly flawed New Gundam Breaker and the F2P, loot box-driven Gundam Battle Operation 2, which I enjoy daily.

So far, the only announcement for this year is SD Gundam: G Generation Cross Rays, but chances are, we'll see another announcement eventually.

We also happen to be losing a game this year. They're ending services for the 4-year-old F2P Gundam Battle Operation NEXT next month.

BNP is a spinoff division of Sunrise (as the article notes).
