Diamonds implosion is pretty comical (see what I did there). Its been a long time since I last went into a comic shop to order anything. 2 reasons for that .. 1.) they simply don't exist anymore.. at 1 point I had 6 different shops near me, now maybe 1 and I don't even know if they are still open. 2.) Have you read what passes for American comics lately?
When I did, Diamond previews were always.. you can order it, but you probably won't ever get it. And when you did get it.. it was a shock. So I stopped and found other avenues, thanks to a place called the internet. Diamond had a Monopoly.. and they got lazy and complacent. Buh bye.. not sad about this 1 bit. |
