Has anyone else noticed the uptick in spam posts in that subforum? Why isn't it being stopped? I come to talk about/see other people's opinions on anime. Not Alaska Airlines or Priceline.
Is that the reason why I keep having the site crash while trying to access it? |

The moderation team has noticed and has been diligently cleaning up the spam posts as quickly as we can. We know the Series Discussion subforum has been disproportionately targeted (there were several hundred spam threads posted Saturday morning, for example, and they've been coming in multiple -- thankfully smaller -- waves every few hours since then), but as for why that particular subforum is so attractive to the spammers, that's anyone's guess.
I can't comment on why the site may be crashing for you, but it that does seem to be a recurring issue for many people. --F |

I'm with you guys. These spambots have become an annoying nuisance here. Anything that can be done to lessen their presence here will be welcomed,especially by me.

I can tell you right now they're still happening. Have you considered a ban on making new accounts to try and curb it? |

We got a lot of spam post happening on the anime section on the forum, please do something about this.
