I'm confused, is AMC giving them blank cheques, or are they draining the company, cause they're doing more dubs now but also they barely have a summer 2025 lineup

Hidive barely can't keep with Crunchy monopoly and we know it, among with some of the good summer shows now also ending on Netflix and friggin Amazon of all things (because of REMOW), so at this point Sentai just get whatever is available - which is mostly peanuts.

Hidive having a hard time will always be someone else's fault, right? After being bought by AMC Networks over 3 years ago they were on a role getting hot titles like Call of the Night, Ya Boy Kongming to name a few, they were back on the radar thanks to Crunchyroll if we use that same logic. The truth is John Ledford doesn't know how to keep a company running or doesn't know how to do any business at all, he's used to run on red numbers as he already broke two companies before, and now he works for the company that bought his 3 years ago that has a [expletive] big load of debt which is the reason why they barely have something new to offer, being in that position is his fault and responsibility as him an no one else decided to sell them Sentai.
