Fingers crossed for a different studio or at least a different staff than the one that mangled season 2.

It wasn’t really the staff that was the problem as it was the bad scheduling, reminder the last episode of the season was arguably the best looking of the entire series. Had they not had to make the Nagi movie then all of season 2 likely would have turned out much better.

If anything, the problem of Season 2 wasn't really with the staff at all - as the last episode was animated at least way better.

The problem comes with the production committee (and that one will most likely not change at all), which given the staff the impossible time constraints to do, which let to the massive outsourcing and quality drop.

I hope next season adds two or three frames to every episode.

Agreed, WANNFH. The production committee is responsible for the abysmal slideshow that was s2. Hopefully, the backlash is enough for them to stop jerking fans around and let the animation team actually animate.

Had little to do with the staff, there was plenty of talent working on it that was heavily nerfed due to the abysmal schedule.

One can only hope the studio is allow to actually cook this time. No more rush jobs, it can come out in 2028 if it wants.

I feel so terrible for the animators for season 2 who went through hell for that to be forced to be the result.

Is it ever possible to fire a production committee for gross incompetency
