Is there no direct email to get HELP anymore?? Couldn't find one, hence posting here
ALL the YEARS using ANN and never gotten this: Security check Sorry for the inconvenience, but you must fill in this captcha to access ANN Why do I have to complete a captcha? The security system for this website has been triggered because spambot-like behavior has recently been detected coming from your IP address neighborhood. ***Not sure I believe this! Completing the challenge above proves you are a human and gives you temporary access. EXCEPT the captcha did NOT show in Safari -- WHY not?? So had to try in Firefox. Got through the captcha and wham asked to change my password to something stronger. Same pw I've been using for years and NEVER once gotten message to make it stronger so WHY now?! EDIT: Last night did try on W11 laptop in Firefox to get to ANN and it also gave me the Security check page required June 13 after 12:45pm (Pacific) saw email reply notice but reply been deleted. Tried Safari again and able to get to ANN and NOT asked for the security check now. Glad it's back to usual now! So maybe was some kind of site issue? Still the captcha didn't show in Safari and why the pw update notice |

Thank you for your patience on this.
Last week, we had a few website issues and our dev team was able to fix them. If you ever experience this again, please let us know by accomplishing the "Report the Problem" feature found on the lower right of the page. This will allow our dev team to also take a look at it faster. The URL is the most important part, so please don't forget to copy-paste the page that has the error. |

URL I had tried to go to was the one I always default to viewing: fast.animenewsnetwork.com Text-only List View option (logged in as subscriber) Which redirected to www.animenewsnetwork.com on Firefox on my iMac and my W11 laptop in Firefox as I wasn't logged in in either location (me trying to see if was Safari (OLD, can't go past High Sierra on my 27 inch iMac) specific issue) and instead of getting to the main site URL it showed the Security check page. |
