Yoshida has been busy doing his journeyman animator thing, but Ikeda co-directing is interesting. He's been quiet for a long time, only doing a bit of work on Wistoria a couple years ago. Makes me wonder if he's getting in the groove for that new Wing project in the near future

But Taniguchi as CAD does give me a little pause, I don't know how much he's up for that level of workload nowadays (the last time he's taken up animation director duties being one episode of RErideD, which the less said about that the better)

I am asuming that Sunrise will be the animation studio that will animated this, just looking at who they got. Also having Sunrise and Yoshitaka Amano working on a project together sounds like an awsome idea for a cool artstic anime. Unless Ryosuke Takahashi has made his own anime studio that is.

Stop doing NFT stuff Japan. No one cares about that in 2026.

It's more or less stated that Amano's own company will produce it. You're not wrong for thinking it though, Sunrise was the first studio to come to mind when I saw all those vets.

Great to see Ryousuke Takahashi involved in this. Dude is already 83 years old and still going strong... Big, big fan of all his works so I'm really looking forward to this one. Hopefully we'll get more solid info on the realease date tomorrow when they show the first PV...
