Been a Nirvana fan since 1991 and an anime fan since 2019 so this works perfectly. Although with all the green, you'd think Type O'Negative would have been more appropriate for an opening song, lol

Correction: The illustration with Mitsuki and Aya back to back is by the character designer Kanna Hirayama, not by Arai.

My mostly unabridged thoughts. We’re seeing more Western songs in anime OP’s and I’m here for it. Granted as long as they’re full openings and not 5 second title cards I’m down.

My Girlfriend's Girlfriend would almost work. Pyretta Blaze would be a good choice too. I'd like to think Aya and Mitsuki would approve of Peter and the boys if they ever heard them.
That said, I haven't heard "Breed" in ages and forget how much it just slaps as a song.

Who am I kidding? Any anime getting a physical release now is a miracle.

So is this actually yuri or just bait? I'm always wary when I see people hype up a shows as the best yuri thing ever and then I watch it and like the girls never show intimacy or even kiss while other shows get completely ignored and overlooked.

I'd say it's unambiguously yuri, but it is certainly a slow burn getting there.

It’s also the track that scores Shoot ‘Em Up’s opening gunfight and it does a fantastic job getting the adrenaline rushing.
