Needless to say, I tried to find the answer to my question through Google without luck, so I'm coming here in hopes somebody can enlighten me.

On the back of my tin BL: 2nd Barrage box set it indicates that the Extra Features DVD includes an interview with Director Sunao Katabuchi. Yet such an interview does not appear on my Extra Features DVD disc. I checked on Amazon.ca and in its product listing, it made no mention of the interview, either.

I know that BL season one was put out by Geneon and then Funimation took over the franchise...is it possible the interview was an extra that Geneon planned but got lost in the Funimation take over? That's my suspicion, but I thought I'd ask on the slim chance the interview is hidden as Easter Egg somewhere...

Well, I essentially have the same thing (only I bought the tin and the other volumes seperately) and there is no such interview either.

This really should have been put in the "General Questions/Identifying Anime" thread. Just saying. It's the way you worded it, not necessarily the content of your post.

You're probably right about where my question should have gone. I didn't think of the GQ/IA thread because I usually think of it in the context of the IA part rather than the GQ part.

Shot in the dark, but on the Planetes discs, the only way to get to the commentary is via the episode select screen. They have it laid out so you pick an episode and then they have Opener, Part 1, Part 2, Closer, and where applicable, commentary.
