Well, I hunted down the title of the Anime and the person who said it. But the context and addressee completely eludes me. And that frustrates me; so close, yet so far.

Gaah, I'm in the same boat as dtm42. I have seen the series in question, and seen it dubbed, but it's been much too long and it didn't stick out well in my mind beyond general goofiness.
EDIT: Oh, hell, I'll take a stab at the context anyway based on a subtitled video clip I found: spoiler[The speaker is Shinesman Moss Green from Special Duty combat Unit Shinesman, in the scene at the amphitheater where the tentacle monster thingy under the direction of Princess Shiina(?) has all of the team wrapped up, and each one in turn thinks about a reason they can't die.] |

For the record, that this is probably the 6th or 7th quote I've gotten since I last got a picture in the other game. I just suck at identifying faces, I guess. . .
Anyway, for this one you must be exact about the title name, for reasons that should be obvious if you figure out the title. A required part of the context is what (wordless) action happens in between the two lines. This is from the dub. Character A: "You're cold, lady." <coughs> (Character B does something.) Character B: "I will always be cold." |

It took a lot of time to decide what quote to use from this series (one of my favs), since it has so many to choose from, but I gave up on a more obscure quote for this one. This is from the sub.
Character A: I won't allow him to remarry Character B: Eh? Character A: I don't mind you dating my father, but I can't allow him to remarry Character B: <laughs> I thought you'd have objections to it, but I never imagined you'd be so blunt to such an extent Character A: It's surprising for me that you noticed I had objections Character B: Ofcourse I would know. After all, as soon as our eyes meet, you dart away in a flash. For future reference, tell me: what don't you like about me? Character A: Ever since me met, everything. Your makeup, your clothes, even your stench Character B: How convenient, I disliked you too. Guess the feeling's mutual. <laughs> |

Wow, I know exactly what this is from, but I can only recall one of the names, not the other. I will try anyway. spoiler[It's Rena talking to Rina in Higurashi - When They Cry. I think they were on the roadside, but I can't give better detail, that show skipped around too much.]

You left out a few details, bonbonsrus, such as who was Character A and who was Character B. But you were pretty accurate, so not sure if 12skippy21 wants to give it to you anyways. Here's the complete answer.
Character A: spoiler[Rena Ryuugu] Character B: spoiler[Rina Mamiya] Series: spoiler[When they cry: Higurashi] Context: spoiler[Rena is talking to Rina at the town garbage dump. Ultimately, Rena reveals that she knows Rina is just trying to get her father's money and Rina attacks Rena, but it's actually Rina who ends up dead. Don't want to mess with Rena.  ]
