Well I enjoyed this series, giant wasps and all, and speaking as a heterosexual male I have to say I thought that the way they brought out Shion and Nezumi's relationship was quite charming, which made the end quite surprising in some aspects.

Definitely on my "must buy" list.

Agree with commentators that:

1) the story did not go overboard with gay relationship, and this is great progress indeed;

2) top/bottom cliche is really bad taste concept for any gay relationship to depict -- this has to go away sometime, I hope;

3) the project is obviously flawed, and yet it can be enough thought inspiring to be interesting -- which results overall good anime.


Also, there is tendency that the most of sci-fi anime want to turn every little story into world-ending, apocalypse climax -- no matter it is warranted or not.
