1) fansubbing

If anybody ever started a thread about fansubbing a moe lolicon show, I bet the entire board would spontaneously implode.

Nobody ever questions why a Ferrari costs more than a Ford, or why a bottle of Guinness costs more than a bottle of Budweiser, so why should anime be any different? It's a luxury good, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that anime is, on average, better than cheaper domestic entertainment.
