As the title says, the ad in the upper right corner of ANN's layout isn't rendering - instead, the page keeps loading forever. Bug, or insidious trojan...?

Must be a problem on your end. It's usually an ad for Top Cat DVDs, in case you're wondering. Not sure why they're advertising here, given how hostile most anime fans are to American cartoons.

Anime fans are hostile to American cartoons? That's news to me. Besides, the ads are for the Flinstones and Top Cat. Those are two Hanna Barbara classics.

Nope, I'm seeing the Top Cat DVD ads with no problem. The problem isn't incorrect rendering, it's never-ending rendering.

The banner ad in the upper right is in an iframe, which means that it's loading data exclusively from a 3rd party ad site (atdmt.com). If it's not rendering on your browser, it seems to me that it would be either a problem with their site, or with your browser.

Some people block images from atdmt.com and other sites via Mozilla or a 3rd party ad-blocker (or editing the HOSTS file) -- if you're doing anything like that, it might be affecting it.

I noticed some odd bugs with it a few times today as well.
