Akira certainly looks girly.
But...Mizuki looks girly too. Isn't the point for her to be manly?

Its treated as more of a presentation issue in the manga. Though I would add that Akira didn't look even remotely girly in anything except that one shot about midway in.

How did I miss this? It looks as silly, unintelligent and fun as the manga, hopefully I will be able to see it one day.
