As the image in the article and the official website say, Koyasu still considers it new. ("Koyasu Takehito Gen-an no Shin Project.")

I was gonna say. Wasn't Velvet Underworld the first opening theme song to the WeiB anime?

What Pokemon verson are we up to?

Koyasu does a lot of titles where they do numerous titles off the same idea-harem & shonen. Is this any worse than all the Gundam titles that have been made over the decades?

Except that the main character even has the same friggen name...it's not just the same idea.

yup. not to mention this will have a four man group apparently (like Weiss), a character called A.Y.A (kind of like Weiss wit Aya-kun being the main character) and a Pawn (like in his Crashers: Knight and Ran which takes place before Weiss and the characters cross over into the Gluhen season of Weiss for a short space).

EDIT:
I almost forgot, the Pawn in Crashers and Gluhen is a demolition/explosives expert... the Velvet Under World Pawn is mentioned to be an explosives expert.

And some kid in YuGi Moto's class has the same name as an Egyptian grave robber.

Doesn't Go Nagai do this to us? I know Devilman & Demon Lord Dante are pretty much different takes on one story.

And Hiro Mashima names all his heroes after Seasons (Haru, Natsu & Shiki). He said something at Comic-con about hoping he could keep it up or not run out

I can think of a few authors who favor the same name (like Joe). Not to mention people who milk an idea for all it's worth (Rowling?)
