I honestly never expected to see Viz bring over the Shonen Sunday name... This excites me a good bit.
And I know a great title Viz can use to start off the Sunday DVD line: Monkey Turn. The company already has the masters for at least the first season of the anime due to the fusion it did with ShoPro to become Viz Media... It's a show that's in their office and all ready to be subbed, dubbed, and released on DVD and the Sunday imprint is the perfect way to finally release it. It's just such a great anime. Also, this could lead to titles like The Law of Ueki Plus, Devil & Devil, Major, or even older titles like Touch getting licensed and released over here. |
