If you plan on being at Anime Weekend Atlanta this weekend – stop by and see us running our overnight events at the VAT (Video Arts Track)…

Friday Night (Saturday Morning) at 1:00 AM – The RetroCade Slumber Party: Play classic game systems and sign up for tournaments in a lounge style atmosphere. Event ends at 5:30 AM

Saturday Night at 10:30 PM – Wasabi Anime’s Cosplayback 70’s Dance Party: Disco music and classic cartoons combine for this colossal dance party of the past. Zaniness will ensue.

Saturday Night (Sunday Morning) at 1:00 AM – The RetroCade Slumber Party: Same silliness as the night before – but with more cowbell! Event ends at 5:30 AM

I wandered in around 5AM Saturday morning, and then very briefly around the same time Sunday morning, and I really enjoyed it. It was great that AWA finally had a late-night something for those of us averse to sleep to do. The fact that it was very well handled made it all the better.
