I was wondering if all manga have colored pages?
and only like first printings have em right? like my inuyasha dont have colored covers |

In Japan, manga are first published in magazines (think Shounen Jump). Those magazines usually have some colour pages. Not every series gets some though, they are reserved for new series and series that are very populair. So not every manga gets colour pages and some manga get more than others.
When the manga chapters are collected in a tankobon they sometimes keep the colour pages and sometimes they don't. Special editions may have extra colour pages that are exclusive too that edition. American, German etc publishers don't always keep the colour pages. It's cheap to print a black and white manga, adding colour pages makes it much more expensive. |
