Just recently today, Viz Media suddenly removed the Kirby manga off its own website. These links refer to where the manga used to be:

Maybe they are updating that particular webpage?
I remember Viz Media having a much more simpler site than the one they apparently have now (although it's been a very long time since I last entered their website) so it's possible change might have happened. Although there also is a chance there is a error in the code as well, so that is also possible. But you may be right, Viz Media might have lost their rights to Kirby and the page may be taken down. I don't know if Kirby is a ongoing series, but if it had a series conclusion either recently or in the past, Viz Media might have let the license lapse due to the series is complete. However, there is a chance that Viz Media may have also dropped the series. If they were spending more money on this series than making money on this series, it's quite possible that Viz Media might have dropped this series. Although, given that this is a news website, I think that Anime News Network would report this news if the series was dropped. |

Well, some of us contacted Viz Media about the situation of this manga, and they said:
1. "The future of that title is uncertain." 2. "It's still going to come out but were not sure when." So apparently, they were not quite intending to cancel the manga. |
