Please, please, Disney... please release both of these movies in the Western hemisphere next year. Please.

Second the motion. But is it no surprise that Hisaishi is the composer. I mean he's done just about every soundtrack for Ghibli. But nowhere near as synonymous as Miyazaki.

Well, it actually is a bit of surprise, seeing as Hisaishi has never composed a non-Miyazaki directed Ghibli movie up until now (and non-Miyazaki films consist of half of Ghibli's catalogue). This is a little unprecedented, but if this means two new Hisaishi Joe soundtracks within half a year of each other, I'm pretty dang excited. |

Wow, I'm actually surprised. I knew he was main guy for the majority of Miyazaki films I somewhat assumed he did their whole catalog. So he's going to compose for a Takahata film, well this definitely is a plus. I own maybe one soundtrack he's done for a VG and I was surprised so this would be no problem for him.
