Question Is there going to be a FLCL collection?


You know,all six episodes in one set.

No, but I believe the company distributing it announced it for release later this year. I don't know the details, though.

I've heard speculation that it'll probably be released in time for christmas, which would make sense, but I don't know how much truth there is in that.

SyncPoint is releasing a collection, but it'll be the individual DVDs in the original box as a complete collection, slated for release late this year or sometime next year.

What original box? There is no other boxset than this rumored one.

He probably means the limited edition artbox that was released with the third DVD of the series a couple years back

SyncPoint originally sold the box with volume 3 when the first release went around. There were about 15,000 boxes or so.

That'd be nice too, I've been wanting to get ahold of that artbox since it was originally released, but I was never able to due to lack of money and the limited number of those artboxes that were produeced

Though, the thing that comes to mind, is that if SyncPoint does release a collection, how much is it going to cost? 'Cause personally, I'd rather not pay $90+ for a 6 episode series, regardless of how much I like the show

I didn't have a hard time finding the box online when I go the whole series for my brother this past christmas. It only cost me around $30-35 for vol 3 + box.
