I've have currently seen the first dvd of this series and i thought it was really good. I searched amazon and i saw that there were 2 movies out. I was wondering if it has anything to do the the series.

you could find all of this information in the anime part of the encyclopedia.
manga#1608 that is for the manga but lists all of the adaptations and spinoffs of the story. |

I think there is one movie and the OVA. They dont really have much to do with the TV series you can wach them if you want. They are both very good.

Well, the movie and OAV are very separate from the TV series because they both were created a fair few years before the TV series.
The OAV dates back to 1992, and was AIC's other large hit of an OAV (oddly enough, Tenchi Muyo was the primary big hit). It was conceived by Fujishima as a microcosm approach to the Oh! My Goddess world and as such left out large portions of detail and several key characters. However, it also is one of the most focused pieces in the Oh! My Goddess canon and spends the most time of any piece showing Belldandy and Keiichi flourish as a couple. Also, the OAV's US release was handled by stateside anime curators AnimEigo who presented it with an absolutely stirling dub that holds up irreproachably to this day. In fact, it's an old fandom tale that Kosuke Fujishima, upon hearing Juliet Cesario's voice as Belldandy, remarked "That's how Belldandy sounds!". |

thats actually quite funny/odd, because belldandy's english dub was always one of my most favorite dubs ever (first and secind and third being Ed,Al, and Scar in fullmetal alchemist) so yeah.... |

Well, if you'd really like a chuckle out of the AnimEigo dub, then consider that Juliet Cesario (voice of Belldandy in the OAV's) and Scott Simpson (voice of Keiichi in the OAV's) met during the casting, began dating during the dubbing process, and married shortly after the official release of Oh! My Goddess.
