Oh wow, so this will be at least 24 episodes. Looking forward to it!

Why so short? I hope they have another AU planned.

So 2 Gundam series this fall? This one and Build Fighters? If so let the Joyous Fall of Gundam begin (not the downfall).

Definitely watching this. Which Tomino will show up for this, though?

Studios don't really make full-year shows much any more, with the exception being the big shounen and kids shows. It also doesn't help that most of the fanbase hated AGE. I wouldn't be surprised if Sunrise does what they did with 00 and now Build Fighters and just do a second 2-cour run 6 months-to-a-year later.

I hope it's Turn-A Tomino. I think Zeta-to-Victory Tomino vanished back in the 90's, so I'm thinking it'll probably be more like Turn-A.

Sure is a fancy way of saying 26 episodes. I prefer this over a full year, since I feel most Sunrise mecha tend to always have a halfway or third quarter slump. Then again, with the way shows are made now, it's probably planned to be 52 from the beginning, just split apart to cost save.

Or Zeta movies or King Gainer Tomino. I'd love some of Tomino's 80s comedy though. His comedy was always wacky and made me laugh. People would probably drop the show right away if he did that haha.

I wish Sunrise would remember Takahashi still exists and give him some more mecha shows to work on, not even necessarily sequels of previous works. Some of the recent VOTOMS OVAs were at least a step up from the 90s OVA series, but overall, his resume is so dense with stronger shows throughout his career, a far better batting average than Tomino's. Guess Gasaraki and FLAG just did him in for getting higher budgets?

Tomina's writing has... issues, so I'd prefer a shorter length.

Yeah I get a King Gainer & Turn A vibe from what little we've seen. Never know what Tomino will do because he is one crazy guy. Hopefully its gonna be fun & something unique from recent mecha shows we've been getting.

I think his shorter works are his weakest. Garzey's Wing, Gundam F91 and Wings of Rean. He mostly only ever does long shows.

This series may have a chance then. Two cour is far better than just a movie.

wow I guess I'm in the minority that finds Happy Tomino (Turn A Gundam, Gainer) is complete and utter nonsense I wish Kill'em All does come back Gundam could use a return to proper form.

The new generation of fans gets squeamish over that since anime is so character centric these days, look what happened with Shingeki no Kyojin. This generation is not ready nor in the market for a classic kill em all Gundam anime.
