They've made a couple of remake movies for Doraemon, haven't they?

They've gone through most of the classic Fujio stories, and are now remaking the Essential 80's Core Classics (Nobita's Dinosaur, Nobita's pet cloud, etc.) for a new generation with the new 00's-10's cast. This one was considered Essential because it'd been the biggest hit.
(And yes, we can assume this one's 2D, as the 3D CGI Stand By Me seemed to be more of an "event" movie off the annual-movie series, from a different producer.)

And while it's nice to hope for Stand By Me just because it'd gotten all the attention, that one's still the finale movie.
Would be nice if Disney and Bang-Zoom could get together on releasing some of the more TV-friendly core 2D kids-animated features, like Land of Magic or Gadget Museum.
