Wow, I am shocked that Big Hero 6 is still on the list!

I know, right. I mean, I have the manga and it's pretty good but I didn't know it would still do that well.

Of course Big Hero 6 is on the list! You can't get any better exposure than being based on an Oscar winning Disney movie.
I'm surprised Death Note is on the list. The new drama must be having an impact.

I too an surprised by Big Hero 6. I mean, people watched the movie...and are actually willing to read something that's related to it? Marvel/DC should get on the phone and find out why they haven't gotten people to read their comics, after seeing their movies. Laughing

Probably because their comics aren't "Japanese" or something like that

I imagine Big Hero 6 is doing so well because of scenarios like this:

Quote:
ENTER SCENE. Mom and kid are shopping at their local outlet, which includes a Barnes and Noble/Books-a-Million. Mom takes kid into bookstore hoping maybe she'll get him to read or something, since school is coming up and he'll always need a book with him...

Kid is bored by all the books he sees. Suddenly, out of the blue...a comic book based off Big Hero 6! That movie was AWESOME!

What's this? Oh, it's all backwards too. His friends are gonna think it's really cool he has a weird backwards book. He's probably the only one of his friends who has it too. Mom buys it for him because she's happy he wants to read something.
