Ah that's a shame, really enjoy this series, not caught up with it (only at chapter 34) so not sure if it was heading for a natural conclusion or not.

For those wondering if this is related to High School DxD, besides from sharing "DxD", it appears it isn't.
I remember I used to go my local library and reading the Kindaichi manga they had there. I wish it was more successful.

What the hell does DxD mean, anyway? How do you even pronounce it?

According to anime.marumegane (or whatever it was called), it's supposed to be pronounced DD, as in the cup size, but I include the X in the pronunciation because it sounds cool.

Doctor x Detective?
Because the main character is a doctor and a heroines is a detective (though protagonist is better at being a detective than her from what I've seen).

Apparently, the Great Red article on the High School DxD wiki says that the "DxD" means "Dragon of Dragons". It is pronounced "Dee Dee".
